Rojas Statement Robusto Cigar Review – This 5×50 stick features a dark chocolate firmly packed oily, toothy wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and rich charred cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick chewy medium-full bodied smoke of a bold wood and intense building spice through the long finish. The first third burns well with short flaky ash producing a damp light earth with a medium body while the spice tones down a bit and adds a little texture. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes with notes adding a dark coffee to the mix equal with the earth lasting all the way through the finish, which diminishes the spice even further. Burn is very good needing nothing. Ending at 1 hour the last third burned a bit slower with flavors unchanged.
