Diesel Esteli Puro Robusto Cigar Review – This 5.2.54 stick features a very firmly packed, oily satin dark cocoa wrapper with small veins, tight invisible seams, large triple cap and musty sweet cocoa aroma. First light reveals a good draw with plumes of medium-full smooth smoke showing notes of a sweet light zingy earth on the draw quickly followed by a building sweet heat and spice with a light cedar. The first third shifts to a medium-full body and finish with a sweet caramel and dark roast coffee combo lasting to the next draw, joined by an oily pepper and building spice through the long finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes with notes remaining the same. Ending at 55 the last third got very hot quite quickly, dropping the caramel, pepper and spice, shifting to a cocoa and coffee.
