León Jimenes Series 300 Robusto Cigar Review – This 5×50 stick features a dark chocolate, oily satin wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and faint cedar and hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful full bodied rich smoke showing notes of dark black coffee, deep earth and a campfire through the long bold finish. The first third develops a sweet burnt caramel, nutmeg and but on the draw with a touch of pepper and building cayenne through the long finish, with thick rich medium-full smoke. The 1/2 way point hits at 35 minutes with a solid ash chunk, perfect burn and no flavor shifts. The last third adds a touch of strength with flavors shifting to dark cocoa, black coffee and earth, both on the draw and finish, ending at 1 hour.
