Cuban Montecristo Open Eagle Cigar Review – This 5.9×54 stick features a dark brown firmly packed oily wrapper with a paper bag like texture, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and faint hay aroma. First light reveals a plug draw, fixed with the PerfecDraw. Flavors are a medium bodied sweet creamy floral note both on the draw and long finish. The first third needs a touchup but still produces good flavors adding a cashew to the mix. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes with notes shifting to medium-full body adding a slight pepper to the finish and the cashew trailing down. The last third burns the best with flavors remaining the same but the body back down to mild-medium, ending at an hour. This video is sponsored by Montefortuna Cigars.
