Caldwell Eastern Standard Connecticut Cakewalk Pyramid Cigar Review – This 6×50 shaped stick features a dark tan wrapper with a soft buttery smooth firmly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, and a rich deep hay and licorice aroma. First light reveals a flawless draw with rich plentiful full bodied smoke showing notes of a zingy dry cedar and white pepper on the long finish. The first third comes down a tick to medium-full body still with smooth rich thick smoke showing a big cedar and leather combo with a hint of honey on the draw and the pepper growing on the finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes keeping the same great performance and complexity just swapping the honey sweetness for a caramel.
