Cuban Partagas Serie D No. 4 Cigar Review – This 4.9×50 stick features a buttery soft oily, dark brown wrapper with a firm even pack, small veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and faint hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick smooth smoke showing a deep heavy wood and pepper bite through the finish. The first third adds a sweet cuban twang to the mix, keeping the punchy near full body notes and perfect construction. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes dropping a solid ash with consistent flavors. Ending at 1:05 the last third drops the sweetness but ramps up the twang past the band.
