Cuban Montecristo Edmundo Cigar Review – This 5.3×52 stick features a slightly reddish brown wrapper with a dry satin feel, firm even pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and faint cedar aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with silky smooth mild-medium smoke showing notes of a lighter cedar on the draw followed by a deeper oak through the finish. The first third continues the perfect construction pushing body to medium keeping the same profile with thick smoke and a long finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes burning slowly as notes go deeper towards the oaky side. Ending at 1 hour the last third burns a bit faster holding the same performance and flavors.
