Cuban Montecristo Open Master Cigar Review – This 4.9×50 stick features a dark tan firmly but lightly packed wrapper with a buttery soft feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and faint hay aroma. First light reveals a great draw with extremely slick, thick, palatable creamy smoke with mild-medium bodied flavors of a slightly bitter dry vegetal taste and short finish. The first third burns very well coming quickly to a medium body with notes of a thick smokey leather with a long finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes with flavor shifting to a deep leather and liquid smoke, still very thick and rich. Ending at 55 minutes the last third goes to a lighter slightly sweet leather.
