Cuban Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure no.2 Cigar Review – This 4.9×50 stick features a dark tan firmly packed wrapper with small veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap, satin feel and slight cocoa and pepper aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with rich medium-full bodied smoke showing creamy vanilla, dry cedar and a full long finish with a smooth retrohale. The first third quickly grows complex with vanilla, honey and graham cracker still keeping a dryness and the cedar more through the finish which has a touch of spice. Hitting the 1/2 way point at a slow 35 minutes with perfect construction and a chunk of ash, flavors are down a tick to medium with a swap of the sweet notes for a cocoa powder. Ending at 1 hour the last third dropped all but the cocoa and spice going very warm near the nub. This video is sponsored by Online-Cigars.com
