Crowned Heads Mil Días Edmundo Cigar Review – This 5 3/8×52 stick features a dark cocoa wrapper with a firm even light pack, soft velvet texture, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and faint hay aroma. First light reveals a great draw with medium-full bodied smoke showing notes of a big creamy textured, peppery spicy leather with a long finish of the same. The first third burns perfectly swapping the leather for a dry slightly sweet woodiness, and the spice builds a tad on the finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with a solid ash, perfect performance and no flavor changes. Ending at 1:15 the last third rampa up the strength handily matching the body at medium-full. Flavors go simpler, dropping the pepper and most of the spice, settling on a warm dry woodiness and touch of sweetness.
