Cuban Partagas Serie P no.2 Cigar Review – This 6.1×52 stick features a dark brown firmly packed oily buttery smooth wrapper with slight mottling, minimal veins, tight invisible seams and a sweet barnyard aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plumes of thick creamy sweet smoke with notes of light earth and bright cedar through the short finish. The first third burns perfectly with plumes of thick smoke dominated on the draw by a sweet cream, trailed by the light earth and lingering cedar on the longer finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes dropping a solid ash with notes shifting away from the sweet cream a bit towards a deep oak and slight pepper through the finish. The last ended at 1:20 and keeps the same flavors but ramps up the strength to a matching medium from the band point back, with great burn all the way down.
