Cuban Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo de Rio Seco Cigar Review – This 5.7×56 stick features a dark brown firmly packed buttery soft wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and potent sweet hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful rich medium bodied smoke showing flavors of a creamy textured nuttiness, zingy earth on the draw that transitions to a heavier note and coffee on the tail of the long finish. The first third is up to a medium-full body shifting to a deeper earth, honey and dry cocoa on the finish. The 1/2 way point hits at 40 minutes with flavors shifting to a sweet cream, deeper earth and the cocoa joining a light coffee finish. Ending at 1:20 the last third showed no changes.
