La Flor Dominicana Reserva Especial Figurado Cigar Review – This 5.5×52 stick features a dark brown, lightly packed wrapper with dry slight toothy feel, small veins, tight invisible seams and a faint chocolate aroma. First light reveals an easy loose draw with plentiful full bodied smoke of a rich neutral earth with a kiss of pepper through the long smooth oily finish. The first third settles to a medium-full body adding a bold black coffee just on the draw with the other flavors intact. The 1/2 way point hits at 35 minutes with notes shifting to a slightly sweet bold coffee taking over with the earth in the background and pepper only on the tail end. Ending at 1:05 the sweetness came up a notch with everything else remaining the same to the nub with perfect performance.
