Gurkha San Miguel Toro Cigar Review – This 6×54 stick features a dark brown dense, firmly packed oily satin wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large triple pigtailed cap and pungent sweet cocoa aroma. First light reveals a slightly snug draw with plentiful medium-full bodied smoke showing a bold earth and black pepper with growing spice through the finish. The first third produces notes of a creamy cinnamon toast with a bit of earth followed by pepper and spice on the still long finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 45 minutes dropping the cinnamon and toast replacing it with a zingy deeper earth, keeping the pepper and spice with perfect performance and a solid ash drop. Ending at 1:35 the last third burned slowly adding a slightly sweet cream to the draw keeping the spicy long finish adding a strength kick at the nub.
