Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper Robusto Cigar Review – This 5×50 stick features a dark cocoa mottled buttery soft wrapper with dense pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and pungent coffee and chocolate aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick rich full bodied flavors of a heavy chocolate and earth pepper with slight spice on the long finish. The first third burns fairly slow coming down to a medium-full body with the earth going to a soft leather, keeping the rest of the mix intact. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with great construction, adding a tiny bit of cherry sweetness to the complex mix. Ending at 1:10 the last third was all body, no strength keeping the same complex blend to the nub.
