Joya de Nicaragua Numero Uno Le Premier Cigar Review – This 6 7/8×48 stick features a dark tan wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a soft satin slightly oily feel, large flared pigtail double cap and rich coffee and hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plumes of medium-full bodied smoke showing a creamy sweet nuttiness with white pepper and a touch of spice through the retrohale and long finish. The first third burns fast but perfectly, down to a medium body with flavors of a syrupy sweet honey graham cracker and light nut followed by a kiss of the white pepper. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with notes largely the same, just the burn slowing way down with perfect performance. Ending at 1:25 the last third drops the sweetness.
