Padron 1964 Anniversary A Maduro Cigar Review – This 8.25×50 box pressed stick features a dark chocolate, oily toothy wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, single cap and faint cocoa and wood aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium bodied notes of a smooth musty earth with a slight pepper on the long finish of the same. The first third comes up to a medium-full body adding a creaminess, more pepper and a touch of heat with a neutral cocoa on the draw. The 1/2 way point comes at a slow 50 minutes keeping the body and complexity adding a coffee to the mix. Ending at 1:40 the last third ramped up the strength slowly to the nub, matching the body at medium-full.
