Drew Estate Undercrown Dogma Sungrown Cigar Review – This 5×54 box pressed stick features a dark brown firmly packed oily butter soft wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and pungent sweet cocoa and hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plumes of mild-medium smoke showing a deep woodiness and slight pepper through the long oily finish. The first third builds to a medium body with a long full finish. Notes include the pepper and wood with the addition of a slightly sweet graham cracker and coffee. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes bringing the wood under the other notes, adding a dark caramel to the mix. Ending at 1:10 the last third ramped up to medium-full body with a subtle but noticeable strength. Flavors were deeper still with the pepper ramping up, the caramel overshadowed and the coffee going black.
