Alec Bradley Tempus Nicaragua Terra Novo Cigar Review – This 5×50 stick features a dark chocolate firmly packed wrapper with an oily satin feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and rich chocolate and hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with rich thick medium bodied smoke showing a fairly smooth note of earth with a long finish and little pepper tingle. The first third quickly adds a dark cocoa with the earth getting quite a bit smoother and on the sweet side taking on a creamy texture. The pepper is still there but is well under the other flavors. The 1/2 way mark comes at 45 minutes dropping a solid ash with notes of a sweet creamy leather and the pepper adding a spice to the finish. Ending at 1:15 the last third brings in a medium-full strength just above the body. Flavors shift back to a heavy earth, keeping the sweetness with the pepper ramping up through the finish.
