My Father La Promesa Toro Cigaar Review – This 6×52 stick features a dark brown, oily slick wrapper with a firm even pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and sweet cocoa aroma. First light reveals a terrible draw from a huge stem that needed to be pulled out. Flavors are medium bodied creamy sweet cocoa with touch of coffee on the finish. The first third, after fixing, goes to medium-full with an even smoother, sweeter cocoa on the draw, with a short smooth finish of the same coffee. The 1/2 way point comes at a slower 35 minutes with flavors remaining the same. Burn and draw are perfect. Ending at 1 hour the last third was consistent all the way down with great burn.
