Espinosa Laranja Reserva Escuro Lancero Cigar Review – This 7.5×38 stick features a thick, oily dark chocolate wrapper with a firm even pack, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and pungent, musty hay and cocoa aroma. First light reveals a snug draw but good medium bodied smoke production with very silky smooth thick creamy earth and cocoa with a touch of pepper through the long finish. The first third after opening the draw a bit goes to a medium-full body with a deeper earth, bigger pepper and bite, the smoke is not as thick or smooth and a touch of vanilla comes on the draw. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes dropping solid ash with the same notes but the smoke back to thick. A touch of strength is developing. Ending at 1 hour the last third shows no changes.
