Southern Draw Kudzu Lustrum Cigar Review – This box pressed 5.5×52 belicoso features a dark chocolate wrapper with a very oily slightly softly packed wrapper with pronounced tooth, minimal veins, tight invisible seams and a rich sweet hay and cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick, rich medium-full bodied smoke showing notes of a deep earth, oily texture, building pepper and spice on the finish with a touch of sweetness. The first third burns perfectly adding a smooth leather to the mix. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes with flavors changing to a big pepper, lighter earth with a cream added to the leather. Finish is smooth but with a big pepper texture and slight spice bite. Ending at 1 hour the last third showed no further changes to the body but quickly ramped up the strength to medium-full.
