Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion 1794 Jefferson Cigar Review – This 4.5×52 stick features a dark cocoa, red hued wrapper with a firm even pack, rough oily toothy feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and very strong sweet, cocoa and hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick plumes of medium-full bodied smoke showing a sweet earth and bread with touch of black pepper that grows through the long finish. The first third burns perfectly keeping the same flavors but with the texture going creamy. The 1/2 way point comes at a slow 30 minutes with the cocoa dying down, the earth coming up and the body a medium airy. Ending at 50 minutes the final third brought the strength in force. Notes were unchanged but it started building from mid-band, culminating in an almost full, room spinning experience.
