Foundation Charter Oak Maduro Toro Cigar Review – This 6×52 stick features a dark chocolate very oily, firmly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap, closed foot and very rich, sweet cocoa and hay aroma with a bit of campfire. First light reveals a perfect draw with plumes of thick rich medium-full bodied smoke showing notes of a slightly sweet light earth with pepper texture on the tough followed by a long deep leather on the finish. The first third mellows just a touch going a bit smoother and coming down to a medium body, keeping the same profile. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes going even smoother with the general sweetness moving to a caramel, all sticking around until the next draw. Ending at 1:20 the last third brings a strength whollop slightly overtaking the body, while it holds the same flavors.
