H.Upmann Connoisseur A (Cuban) Cigar Review – This 5.5×52 stick features a dark tan slightly soft but evenly packed wrapper with stretch mark veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and light woody aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium bodied smoke showing notes of a dry roasted nut with a smooth short finish of the same. The first third mellows a bit to mild-medium with a slight sweetness joining the draw and the finish going longer. 35 minutes at the 1/2 way point flavors are unchanged, ash drops in 1″ chunks and the burn is ok. Ending at 1 hour the last third changed the bit of general sweetness to a nutmeg, body is back to medium with a long full finish.
