The King is Dead by AJ Fernandez Torpedo Cigar Review – This 6×52 stick features a toothy, oily firmly packed dark cocoa wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams and a camp fire and hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plumes of medium-full bodied smoke showing an oily deep slightly bitter earth with a big pepper bite through the long finish. The first third shifts to a big sweet, creamy coffee on the draw with just a touch of the earth and pepper building on the long finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes with notes of the same plus a rich cocoa joining for quite the desert like portfolio. Ending at 55 where it got quite hot, flavors started to wash out to a general earthiness with a medium strength kicking in.
