Padilla Vintage Reserve Churchill Cigar Review – This 7×50 stick features a toothy mottled dark chocolate wrapper with an oily sheen and feel, minimal veins, tight seams, triple cap and a slight earthy cocoa aroma. First light reveals a very snug draw with decent medium bodied smoke production showing notes of a dark chocolate and deep smooth earth with a short finish of the same. The first third wakes up after 20 minutes with a decent draw, putting off now medium-full flavor with a long finish. Flavors remain the same. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with flavors shifting to a dark roast coffee and deep heavy sweet earth on the long finish. Ending at 1:10 the last third brought some hefty strength while impacting the burn, with flavors just going to straight heavy earth.
