Rocky Patel Evolution Lancero Cigar Review – This 7×38 stick features an almost black, firmly packed box pressed wrapper with an oily pronounced tooth, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, double cap and faint musty tobacco aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful but mild smooth, musty, creamy tobacco notes on a short finish. The first third burns well but very fast, dropping regular chunks of ash. Flavors are up to a medium body showing the same core flavors but adding a light earth and pepper to the now longer finish. The 1/2 way point comes at a fast 25 minutes with flavors shifting to a sweet vanilla dominating the existing notes, with the finish pepper building. Ending at 50 minutes the last third dropped the pepper going to a sweet musty cream and smooth earth on the finish.
