Espinosa Especial No. 1 Cigar Review – the 6.5×48 stick features a dark chocolate, oily, thin, satin textured firmly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and rich sweet cocoa and earth aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful smooth rich medium-full bodied smoke showing notes of a sweet cocoa, deep hay and light earth with a small building pepper on the long finish. The first third brings the same flavors just easing back on the sweetness, burning slowly and very well. 45 minutes in at the 1/2 way point, the ash drops off in 2″ chunks while the notes shift to a sweet light earth and soft woodiness, dropping the heaviness and pepper. Ending at 1:40 the last third burned even slower, keeping the same flavors.
