MBombay Vintage Reserve Nikka Cigar Review – This 6.5×46 stick features a dark tan buttery smooth wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, an extremely light but firm pack, large double cap and pungent fresh hay aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful medium bodied notes of a dry slightly sweet deep earth and grassiness with a wood and hay through the finish with a touch of pepper texture. The first third bumps up to a medium-full body with still rich thick smoke and the same profile. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes dropping a solid ash and flavors shifting to a silky caramel and coffee both on the draw and finish. Ending at 55 minutes to the hot nub, flavors went to a dried cherry, light earth and coffee.
