Smokin Joe’s 34th Anniversary Toro Cigar Review – This 6×52 stick features a dark chocolate mottled wrapper with a dense slightly firm even pack, oily butter soft feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and a rich sweet tobacco aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful medium bodied thick smoke showing flavors of a plain straight tobacco with touch of bitterness just on the first draw. The first third quickly goes to a slightly sweet straight tobacco with a growing deep woodiness just on the draw, with a milk chocolate and spice through the long finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes going to a slightly sweet smooth nuttiness, keeping the coca and dialing back the spice on the finish. Ash drops in a single chunk with perfect construction. Ending at 1:10 the last third adds quite a strength rush, matching the body at medium-full with flavor notes going to a caramel, deep wood on the draw with the cocoa fading out through the finish which goes to a deep earth.
