Casa Turrent Serie 1901 Robusto Box Pressed Cigar Review – This 5.2×50 stick features a dark brown golden hued, dry, lightly packed slightly toothy wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and slight cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick medium bodied smoke showing a deep earthy leather with a pepper taste on the finish but no heat or zing. The first third quickly comes up to a medium-full body with effortless smoke production showing notes of a creamy sweet nutty coffee and leather with the touch of soft pepper all on the finish to the next draw. The 1/2 way point comes at a quick 20 minutes dropping a solid ash chunk with no changes. Ending at 45 minutes the last third drops the heavy notes going to a bright nutty mint.
