Joya De Nicaragua Cinco Decadas El General Cigar Review – This 7×50 stick features a dark chocolate slightly red hued firmly packed toothy wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and light sweet cedar aroma. First light reveals a slightly snug draw with mild-medium bodied notes of a sweet earth with a pepper and spice coming through the short clean finish. The first third gets a bit smoother although put off no more flavor. The earthiness is now deep, giving a warm feeling like taking a shot. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with flavors waking up. Body is a solid medium with a creamy, sweet bread taking over the draw with a smoother earth on the finish while the pepper and spice start to die down. The finish is finally long enough to last to the next draw. Ending at 1:20 the last third dropped the sweetness but otherwise held the same profile with perfect construction and no strength.
