Diamond Crown Black Diamond Emerald Cigar Review – This 6×52 stick features an almost black firmly packed thick wrapper with a very oily, smooth feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and a damp earthy aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium bodied flavors of a deep, bold musty earth with a black pepper kick but it’s smooth. The finish is short and clean. The first third comes down to a sweet, musty earth holding a mild body with a now long finish of the same. The burn is tough, requiring relights and frequent puffs, even though the draw and smoke output is great. 40 minutes in at the 1/2 way point it really wakes up, pushing medium-full body, adding a salted caramel to the big sweetness and a touch of pepper texture on the finish. Ending at 1:20 the last half burned perfectly holding a solid ash with no further flavor changes, just adding a touch of strength to the mix.
