Balmoral Royal Selection Anejo 18 Rothschild Masivo Cigar Review – This 5×55 stick features a firmly packed oily, toothy dark chocolate wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and faint sweet wood aroma. First light reveals a mild-medium body with a slightly snug draw, decent smoke output and notes of a sweet natural tobacco with touch of leather. The first third continues the same just upping the body to medium adding a sharpness to the notes. The 1/2 way point comes at 35 minutes with flavors continuing to build in body and complexity. At a medium-full they are joined by a pronounced vanilla and cinnamon, all of which are on the draw and long finish. Ending at 1:10 to the hot nub, flavors dropped the sweetness, vanilla and cinnamon going to a deep zingy earth and warm nutty finish.
