La Gloria Cubana Gilded Age Churchill Cigar Review – This 7×52 stick features a very oily, dark brown firmly packed wrapper with slight tooth, small veins, tight invisible seams, nice mottling, triple cap and pungent sweet cedar and cocoa aroma. First light reveals a snug draw with mild-medium smoke showing a slightly sweet straight tobacco on a long finish. The first third opens the draw slightly producing an almost overpoweringly sweet cedar note at a medium body with a light pepper coming in through the long finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes with the same flavors but adds just a touch of strength. Ending at 1:10 the last third shifted somewhere at the band to a heavy earth and leather, also dropping the pepper. The slight strength hung around to the nub.
