Gran Habano Blue in Green Gran Robusto Cigar Review – This 6×54 stick features a cedar sleeve hiding a dark tan firmly packed wrapper with small veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap, dry smooth feel and rich cedar aroma, probably from the sleeve more than anything. First light reveals a flawless draw pouring off plumes of medium-full bodied smoke with a core of a dry straight tobacco, light earth and slight pepper flavor without the texture on the finish. The first third mellows a bit taking all flavors to the same level with the same mix. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes shifting to a sweet creamy cinnamon with a light cedar on a short finish. Burn is very good, draw and smoke production excellent. Ending at 1:15 the last third brings a little strength kick to the mix at mild-medium just amping up flavors. By the nub, the sweet cream fades just leaving a silky smooth cedar and earth again on the finish.
