Fuente Fuente OpusX TAA 2016 Cigar Review – This 7 5/8 x 54 perfecto shaped stick features a dark brown firmly packed wrapper with a dry paper bag feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and pungent macadamia nut aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with a syrupy sweet oily nuttiness with a slightly dry long finish. The first third burns slowly and perfectly adding a nice pepper and spice kick with a dry roasted nut along with a balanced syrupy caramel sweetness. The 1/2 way point comes at a slow 40 minutes with flavors largely the same, just the nuttiness replaced by the typical Fuente woodiness, keeping everything else. Ending at 1:20 the last third opened the draw producing even more smoke with a creamy vanilla joining in and the pepper dying down only coming through at the tail end of the finish.
