The Wise Man Maduro Toro Cigar Review – This 6×56 box pressed stick features a dark brown oily, firmly packed wrapper with a slight tooth, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and rich cocoa and barnyard aroma. First light reveals a dominating full bodied dark roast coffee with a big pepper and spice kick lasting through the finish. The first third opens up the draw keeping the rich thick smoke. Body is down to medium-full with the spice tapering off, the pepper coming down a notch and the addition of a dark chocolate to the espresso like coffee notes. The 1/2 way point comes at 45 minutes with a slow burn, ash falls off in 1.5″ chunks with perfect performance. Flavors are unchanged. Ending at 1:10 the last third shifts to a warm soft earth on the draw with just a touch of the coffee left through the long finish. Burn is excellent and a medium strength joins since the band.
