Hit & Run Almost Robusto Cigar Review – This 4.75×52 stick features a dark brown lightly packed wrapper with a slick oily feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap and rich cedar aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with a glycerin like sweetness on the front of the tongue, an almost bitter dark cocoa on the back, light earth throughout and a short clean finish with a medium body. The first third brings in a heavy syrupy cedar keeping the natural sweetness overshadowing the light earth and cocoa. The finish is full and long. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 45 minutes the 2nd third burns very slowly with a bit of a flowery ask but it holds on just fine. Flavors shift to a green tea and light earth with a subtly fresh ground black pepper in the back of the throat through the long finish. Ending at 1:10 the last third showed no further changes. https://cigarandpipes.com/product/hit-and-run-by-caldwell-booth/
