Padron 1964 Anniversary Series Hermoso Cigar Review – This 4×56 stick features a dark brown densely packed mottled wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large single cap, soft satin texture and potent barnyard aroma. First light reveals a very peppery zesty draw with dark earth, dark chocolate, espresso and quite a spice kick on the finish and retrohale. Body is medium-full with a long finish and the draw is completely open with thick rich smoke. The first third cuts much of the spice and pepper adding a slick sweet vanilla to the mix. 20 minutes in at the 1/2 way point the ash drops in a solid chunk and flavors remain the same. Ending at 40 minutes the last third burned perfectly and cool to the bare nub with no transitions, just the same complex profile.
