601 La Bomba Warhead II Limited Edition Box-Pressed Cigar Review – This 5×5.56 stick features a dark chocolate mottled wrapper with a soft even pack, silky oily feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large triple cap with long fuse like pigtail and pungent cocoa and coffee aroma. First light reveals a loose draw with plentiful rich full bodied smoke showing a zesty zingy earth followed by a pepper and oily spice blast and touch of sweetness on the long finish. The first third comes down quickly to a medium body holding the same combo. The burn is on the fast side but performance is excellent. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 30 minutes the 2nd third comes back up a notch to medium-full body while flavors get a creamy texture and a bit smoother though the finish. Ending at 50 minutes where it got too hot for my taste the last third dropped the spice and most of the pepper leaving a slightly sweet and creamy earth adding a medium strength kick.
