601 La Bomba Warhead III Lancero Cigar Review – This 7.5×38 stick features a dark chocolate rustic, thick, firmly packed wrapper with an oily satin feel, minimal veins, tight seams, large pigtail double cap and a faint cocoa aroma. First light reveals mild-medium bodied smoke showing a slight musty tobacco with a short clean finish. The first third opens up quickly to a medium body keeping the aged tobacco core but adding a big slightly sweet vanilla to the draw followed by a touch of pepper though the long finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes shifting the vanilla to a dried cherry. Ending at 50 minutes where the nub got hot, flavors washed out to a hot slightly acrid earth and dry tobacco.
