Black Works Studio Green Hornet Robusto Cigar Review – This 5×48 stick features a dark chocolate firmly packed oily toothy wrapper with a closed candella foot and multi-striped cap with minimal veins, tight invisible seams and a pungent damp cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with copious amounts of medium-full bodied smoke showing a zing metallic pepper, deep cocoa with a creamy graham cracker on the retrohale and a long finish of the same. The first third comes down to a medium body still with perfect construction. Flavors are almost the same just dropping most of the pepper and adding a tiny bit of sweetness to the cream. Burn line is sharp but the ash is very short. The 1/2 way point comes at 25 minutes with the cocoa dying down replaced by a syrupy earth. Ending at 55 minutes to the nub, the last third brought back the cocoa without the sweetness, keeping the earth and bringing back some pepper on the retrohale.
