La Historia By E.P. Carrillo El Senador – This 5.3×52 stick features a dark chocolate smooth oily firmly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and slight red hue.  First light reveals a perfect draw with plumes of medium bodied thick chewy smoke showing notes of a sweet milk chocolate followed by a slick short finish with a light earth and mild pepper tingle.  The first third keeps the same profile just lengthening the finish and bringing up the chocolate a touch.  25 minutes at the 1/2 way point the burn evened out, ash held for a solid chunk and the draw went slightly loose.  Flavors changed to a medium-full very deep damp heavy earth with significant pepper bit on the draw adding a touch of spice to the long finish.  Ending at 50 minutes the last third showed no further changes until it got hot, washing out to a straight earth. Thank you to viewer Eric for sending this for review!
