Caldwell The King Is Dead Broken Sword Cigar Review – this 5×40 stick features a dark brown firmly packed oily toothy wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, double pigtail cap and faint cocoa and wood aroma.  First light reveals a perfect draw with plumes of thick gritty textured smoke with medium-full bodied flavors of a dry wood and light earth with a long finish.  The first half burns quickly in just 15 minutes with exceptional smoke output and full bodied flavors.  The blend is more complex adding a creamy flavor and texture with a vanilla kicker all lasting through the finish.  The burn line is a little wavy and ash chunks are short.  Finishing up at just 35 minutes where it got hot, the back half dropped the vanilla as it went up in temp adding a warm earth.
