Kafie Don Fernando Maduro Toro Bello Cigar Review – This 6×54 stick features a dark chocolate mottled wrapper with a firm slightly lumpy pack, small veins, tight invisible seams, huge triple cap and faint plain tobacco aroma. First light reveals a snug draw with minimal smoke output and no flavors. I moved on to sample #2 which had a perfect draw, producing mild-medium bodied smoke with soft slightly sweet vanilla, leather, earth and pepper on a short finish. The first third burns quickly with a wonky burn requiring a touchup. Body is mild-medium with whispy smoke showing a warm slightly sweet nut and leather with the pepper dying way down on the finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes requiring another big touchup as one side stopped burning. Flavors and performance remains the same. Ending at 1:20 the last third went to a medium wet earth with a heavy long earth and straight tobacco finish.
