Alpha Defuser San Andres Maduro Robusto Cigar Review – This 5×50 stick features a very dark almost black mottled wrapper with minimal veins, tight seams, large triple cap, an oily slight tooth, firm pack and faint wood aroma. First light reveals a good draw with light mild-medium bodies smoke showing a naturally sweet very potent vegetable note and a short clean finish. The first third burns well but needs double puffs for good smoke generation. Body holds on the mild side with creamy textured soft smoke showing a black coffee and roasted nut with just a natural hint of sweetness on the short finish. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 25 minutes the 2nd third has perfect construction and no flavor changes. Ending at a quick 45 minutes the last third brings up the body a tad but overall remains the same.
