Bucanero Crew Barrel Cigar Review – This 6×60 stick features a dark tan wrapper with a dry feel, firm pack minimal veins, tight seams, large double cap and very faint plain tobacco aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with plentiful medium-full bodied smoke showing flavors of a slightly sweet oily grassiness with a big pepper tingle on the end of the finish. The first third comes down to a mild-medium body with core flavors of a smooth nut and grassiness with just a hint of sweetness. The finish is long and holds the same combo without any pepper or harshness. Hitting the 1/2 way point at a long 45 minutes the 2nd third still holds the ash and continues the same great performance with no flavor shift. Ending at 1:15 the last third required a touchup but otherwise burned well. Flavors were still on the plain side but got deeper with the nuttiness becoming a bit spicy on the finish.
