AJ Fernandez Bellas Artes Robusto Cigar Review – This 5.5×52 box pressed stick features a soft but evenly packed wrapper with a butter soft feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, large double cap, dark tan color and pungent sweet barnyard aroma. First light reveals a very loose draw with medium-full bodied smoke output with a quick blast of sweet leather quickly dominated by a big pepper and spice combo through the long finish. The first third continues the great performance adding a milk chocolate and light coffee to the draw while the pepper and spice die down just a tick. You still have to love pepper to enjoy this one. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes with very good burn and performance, still with a loose but controllable draw. Flavors drop the coffee and most of the cocoa leaving a pepper and spice core throughout. Ending at just under an hour the last third showed no further changes.
